our story
hi! i’m so glad you’re here.
eelectricat began with my daughter eva’s drawings. watching her create so freely reminded me why i fell in love with making things in the first place.
i’m kate, the founder, and after years in the fashion industry, i wanted to build something more personal — something we could grow as a family.
today we all bring different skills and do what we love. we draw, we design, we screen print, we carefully pack every order. and yes, one of us spends his days repairing appliances across los angeles.
it may seem unexpected, but to us it all comes from the same place. we enjoy creating things, fixing things, and helping things last a little longer.
we’re still a very small family business in los angeles. we don’t have a perfectly planned future. we’re simply following our curiosity and hoping it finds the people it was meant for.

for us, sustainability is about making things last — whether it’s a t-shirt or a washing machine. we use recycled and organic materials whenever possible and believe in buying less, choosing well, and caring for what you have.
